Stephan and David have done an amazing job from start to finish. I was very impressed with the detail Stephan went into about our project even at the quotation stage explaining things to us and now the work has been completed we are over the moon with the finished results. For a little garden compared to some of his bigger projects the level of workmanship that has gone into it is amazing and finished to the highest standard. Stephan & David were very professional and explained everything to my wife and I every step of the way and it was a real pleasure having them transform our garden in such a little time. On the basis of our recent experience, I would highly recommend SRM for garden hard landscaping work. We recently commissioned SRM to re-lay our large patio, replacing old concrete slabs with variegated Indian sandstone and moving the step down to the garden into a more central position; to re-configure paving to the side of the house, laying a new sandstone path linked with the rear patio and creating a new vegetable/herb bed, bounded by wooden sleepers; and to replace paving and brick path at the front of the house to match in with rear and side paving. The results have vastly improved the overall attractiveness of the property, as well as providing us with much more safe and useful space. The warm colours of the stone are a vast improvement on the drab, grey/black slabs that were previously in place. The quality of work completed is excellent and recent spells of heavy rain have demonstrated how well water drains from the surfaces, reflecting the care taken to get the levels right. I can't praise the careful attention to detail taken by SRM during the project highly enough. Throughout the process, we found Stefan's advice very helpful and we were fully involved in making decisions as the job progressed. SRM staff were always very courteous and considerate throughout, working diligently, quietly and efficiently, so that the work was completed in timely fashion. Overall, the impact of the finished product exceeded our expectations. We feel that, in view of the quality achieved, the costs involved represented extremely good value for money.
From start to finish Stephan was truly professional in his approach, went the extra mile and listened attentively to my requirements . I ‘only’ asked for a concrete greenhouse base and the finished job was fantastic despite the difficult terrain and these testing times. Stephan was always punctual, professional and made sure that at the end of the day everything was left clean and tidy, I couldn’t have asked for more.
