We've had many a great fish & chips takeaway from the Island House but this time dined in and had a delicious Sunday roast. It took a while to arrive but it's well worth the wait. Quality food, generous portions, spot on! Even the kid's roast was huge, we'll definitely be back to enjoy the restaurant again.
Absolutely lovely food. Full of flavour excellent quality tasty food at a reasonable price. Staff were very pleasant & as a new customer he popped a piece of his own recipe chicken in for free. Very nice too. Large portions for a very good price. Would recommend as a takeaway to others. Will definitely go there again.
Have no idea how his has positive reviews. My review today is bad. Curry sauce tasted not good. Chips were warm and the dinner below par for taste. Genuinely disappointed as I went on the reviews on here. Won’t be eating here again
Currently having a superb freshly cooked cod and chips in the chippy here really delish!!! Will be back! Battered chips choice too!!! Friendly helpful staff and sit down if you want too. Excellent.
