Peaceful place . I love it for its history, which is a hobby of mine. The grounds are beautifully kept and last time I visited, in spring, the grounds were a vision of primroses. The ruins of the Anglican Abbey are stunning and about a mile away the Roman Catholic shrine should not be missed either. The Farm Shop just around the corner from the Abbey, is one of the best in Norfolk.

In the centre of the village, close to the main parking. There is a small charge to visit and payment by contact less. Well marked walks around the ruins and river, into the small wood. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
Had a lovely couple of hours walking around the Abby grounds in the autumn sunshine. We then drove to the Creake Abbey farm shop for a takeaway coffee and sandwich, Delicious!
The is such a delightful sight. A tranquil site, far from main roads and busy life. This is a historic and a religious place of Catholic worship.Founded , destroyed and restored. Visit our lady of Walsingham church(Anglican) for more information. Two minutes walking distance from the Walsingham Abbey.
Very impressive ruins with forest walks too
