Went for the competition everything was fine. 10 pound deposit paid on my card. No obligation to purchase pictures. Got my free one photo Paid for an extra photo 25 pounds cash. Then 90 pounds was taken from my account for non attendance. I attended saturday. They took the money monday!! This company is fraudulent. They have no right to access peoples account and take money. Reported to banking fraud and possibly trading standards if this is not resolved quickly.

Again has to be said make up and hair felt OK... Felt looked after and pampered. But we came away feeling so ripped off. And wish we could of actually discussed something more reasonable but was pressured into buying something. This place is a complete rip off. #wonacompetion #nottrue Wouldn't mind the girl that took photos clearly was in a rush didn't wanna be there and was using probably such a standard camera she kept saying that it keeps cutting out on her. Too add to all this when we got taken in the room to see pictures... The 'free' photo wasn't even mentioned!

Like others we won the competition. The place gets two stars for doing a nice job of make up and making us feel welcome. However, as others have said the “free” photo is the first one they take and we were specifically told it was a practice one. It was poorly composed and was the only photo not (extensively) touched up. My issue with the place is that whilst the staging and compositions were nice, they heavily edited the photos so you only superficially look like yourself. All the photos were heavily air brushed, colour saturated and touched up. This was in spite of asking not to be air brushed. In response to a Chique comment to another reviewer, there IS a 1495 package for all photos and we were told that this was the most popular. Really?! In the end we bought one (at 40) and topped up the deposit to another. It was a bit of fun for 80. If you’re looking for the Instagram Face, then it’s great. If you’re looking for honest and tasteful photos go somewhere else.

We had our make up and photo shoot done at the Wakefield studio. When we arrived we was given drinks and asked to fill in a form of how I wanted my hair and make up. The girls quickly started on my hair and make up and also my daughters. We waited about 20 mins after we’d had our make up done before we went to have our pictures taken. The photographer was brill with my 4 children, we had outfit changes and pictures in different settings. After the shoot we waited to view our pictures. Again always offered drinks and they made sure the kids were happy. When viewing our pictures the lady explained the packages and that we could finance these if wanted too, at no point did we feel pressured into purchasing any photographs. The deposit we payed over the phone before was taken off the payment, I was told this on the phone before we went and was told we would get this back if we didn’t want to buy any pictures. We decided on the smaller package which was perfect for us. We received our free picture before we left the studio. All in all our day was fantastic and we will definitely be going again in the future. Thanks again x
