My husband and I took a tour with Filipe yesterday and it was the best! Our favourite thing we have done on this vacation for sure. Filipe was an excellent guide, very knowledgable about the island and kind. His boat is very comfortable and he was always concerned about how I was feeling (I tend to get a little sea sick). Truly a one of a kind experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting Sao Miguel! Because of Filipe we were able to see amazing views of and get up close beside the ileu in Villa Franca (something you cannot do if you are in the regular ferry to and from the ileu. I can't say enough good things about our experience! We will be taking another private tour with Filipe next time we visit as well! See you then.

We had 2 hours trip with Filipe around nearby island and to nearby beach. He is an amazing guide and we were presented with history, urban legends and with possibility to see and touch volcanic activity and volcano at the bottom of the sea. Time flew by quickly and we enjoyed every minute of it.

Felipe is the greatest fisher out there and runs the best tours! He let us snorkel over geysers and showed us secret fishing and swimming spots. 5 stars for sure!
