Had my 25 year old Sadler 29 stripped of all its (very) old layers of antifoul, and a few coats of epoxy applied to protect the keel and hull by Paul's excellent company before application of new antifouling. As mentioned by other reviewers he does an excellent job and keeps you personally informed at all times. Quick to respond and he offers great advice. There was an issue during the application of the Epoxy where the temperature dropped unexpectedly low overnight (in January) and caused a problem with the curing. This unfortunately caused the whole job to be required to be done again. He did this very quickly in the appropriate weather window while taking it all on himself and keeping to the original quote. Very professional, excellent communication, great job and I would highly recommend him.

I contacted Symblast last year to help with restoring my boat , which had developed the dreaded Osmosis, They have been very helpful and reassuring, working with me throughout the whole process, from removal of coatings(Blasting and gel coat peel) and advice on washing of exposed fibreglass to clean out solvents etc and helpful advice on treatments which I was able to complete myself to help with saving on cost, right through to the completion of epoxy coating and finally a new copper coating. As a yacht owner himself Paul fully understands the needs and concerns of a Yacht owner. He is fully involved in all the work and personally ensures all work meets his high standards. His team have always completed work well within the time frames needed and leave no mess behind. There have been no cost over runs , in fact his advice has helped me to save on my original anticipated costs. What could have been a very painful and difficult process of restoring my boat has been a genuinely interesting and pleasant experience.
