Free WiFi is nice while waiting on the trains! We came in May 2018 and the strikes made this station terrible though. I hope France figures this strike situation out soon!
Tours is famous for historical buildings, this station is one of the authentic design one. There are many train everyday, so suite convenient. I took a train to Charles de Gaulle airport on Friday morning. First train needs 1 stop, 5 min and I changed to TGV as 2nd train. Total duration is approximately 2 hours. About 67.
The information office is efficient and sells the appropriate ticket as well
