Seven Dials Cafe Dont Bother, as rude as they come. In times where tourism should be welcomed and as tourists we were happy to spend they were just rude. They kept us waiting and stated a minimum spend if you wanted to sit in. We agreed as we enjoy the cream teas there. We had a young child who only wanted a drink and then other 4 adults agreed we would all spend the minimum of 7.00. Because the child didnt want anything to eat they said we werent spending enough. Well Done Cockington Court. At a time when we were willing to spend not only did you make us wait in an empty room but insisted a child who wasnt hungry spent 7.00. Your a joke. You did without and we were happy to buy our cream teas elsewhere. You will never have business from us again. I frankly hope you suffer greatly from this pandemic and cease trading so somebody with a good attitude can take over and build a tidy business up again.

So much to do - lovely woodland walks. Lakes. Grounds to play ball etc. Dogs welcome. Food was really nice. Various shops /craft etc.
We just had a look round the gift shop and gallery. Very expensive. Cafe too busy so can't comment. Lovely gardens
The grounds are lovely, well maintained. We enjoyed visiting the craft shops and watching the craftspeople making the items e.g glass ware, metal work. There is also the lakes which are also lovely to walk around. There is a tea room which sales food and drink, children's playground, horse & cart rides plus a cricket club/pitch. It is well worth a visit, great for a day out/picnic, lots to see and do. Just outside of Cockington Court is Cockington village, that is also worth a visit, with craft shops & tea rooms it's very picturesque.
Great place which takes you back to another time.
