Back from a great day out. We booked online this morning, 10 and that goes towards the fruit you pick. The staff were great, all very cheerful and pleasant. The fields are vast, with an abundance of fresh fruit. It's the start of July, so only raspberries and strawberries were ready. We had three trays of strawberries and one tray of raspberries and it came too 15. It's a perfect 'soical distant' day out you cant go wrong. Ample parking, clean toilets, small cafe and farm shop.

I cannot give this place a good enough review. It literally made our mini moon. Staff were so fantastic and the produce is amazing. I've never seen so many pumpkins and had so much fun choosing the perfect pumpkins for us. Thank you so much and we will be back from Glasgow next year for more pumpkin picking fun. Everyone pick your pumpkins here and support small businesses.

Great place to go pumpkin picking. Never seen so much mud, so defo take wellies. The pumpkins aren't badly priced either, about double what you would pay in asda. Kids loved it

We arrived on the 27th October at around 3:30pm after paying 10 for the reservation which could be redeemed against pumpkin purchases. Parking was easy because of the staff directing visitors. On collecting a wheelbarrow we were given instruction and asked to purchase Only 1 pumpkin per person (so 2 for us) as the weather had damaged the stock, initially I thought that would be ok because the big pumpkins are about 4 each and we could buy a carving kit to redeem the 10 I had already paid. Unfortunately when we got out in to the field the relatively few medium and large pumpkins there were rotting with holes in them or had totally gone to mush and not suitable for purchase so we had to get small pumpkins costing 2 each. I had already paid 10 and drove for an hour to get there so I bought 4 pumpkins and a carving kit, I don't think the server was happy but I had already paid and a part refund was not available so I felt that was the best option. I appreciate the stock was lower than expected but they cannot expect people to be out of pocket, I paid for goods so I expect to receive them. If the crop is not what was expected then ticket sales should have been reduced so that less people could go but the people who could go could purchase what they wanted- particularly when the consumer has already paid. I visited the cafe, the staff were not ride but they weren't polite either, they seemed quite miserable. We got 2 'regular' hot chocolates and a toffee apple and it cost 6.50. the toffee on the apple was runny and the regular hot chocolates were tiny, like smaller than a small anywhere else and it was tepid at best, not even warm. We visited this place last year and the experience was so much better. We won't be visiting again because the whole situation made me feel uncomfortable and the value for money is no longer there.

Love spilmans! Me and my partner have been coming here for the last 3 years and absolutely love it every time. Small family run business and it's so fun picking your own pumpkins!
