Matt and the team are simply superb. We had 2 log burners installed and followed up with a third. On our recommendation Matt and the team provided another stunning job for the inlaws and for a close friend. Matt has an encyclopedia knowledge of stoves, flues, linings and hearths, genuinely listens and advises appropriately. Our view is this isn't something you want to get wrong which is why for our extension we've engaged Matt again right from the start. For the 3rd log burner, we had other building work going on at the time and it was very clear to see the attention to detail and thoughtfulness from Matt and the team. Truly a different class of professionalism.

We love our new stove! Matt and S&S team fitted our Dunsley 500 stove just before Christmas, along with a really beautiful riven slate hearth. Original brickwork in the old fireplace was cleaned up and sealed and an old Edwardian mantlepiece fitted too, with slate slips cut and fitted around the edge to finish it off. Very tidy work and Matt was so helpful and in advising us on what would work best. Highly recommend!
Delighted with our new log burner! Huge thanks to Matt and his team who came and installed our new burner, hearth, flu and liner with no trouble all in one day. Matt was easy to communicate with and gave really useful and practical advice about purchasing our burner. And provided a really competitive quote. Worked efficiently and tidily in horrible weather and the finish is of a very high standard. Has transformed our room and we're so happy with it. I could not recommend Matt and his team at Stove & Stone more highly. How they did as much as they did in less than one day is beyond me. Not only was the install smooth, but the level of communication and the advice given in the lead up was invaluable. You won't find anyone that knows as much as Matt does about stoves, and I think you would struggle to find someone in the industry as helpful and trustworthy. Easy 5 stars.
I would highly recommend Matt and his team. They have just fitted our stove and we are so happy with the work they have carried out. Matt was reliable, efficient and very helpful. We absolutely love our wood burner!
