I used to come here about once a week after work, would order a pie and read for an hour before heading home. It's a nice quiet cafe, which is a nice place to go if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of city centre (especially Temple Bar). The staff were also very friendly and the pies of course were delicious and filling

Lovely people, deadly pies! The pies had a wonderfully flaky crust, and you can just tell they were freshly made. The gravy topper was recommended and did not disappoint. The people were warm and friendly, and made us feel right at home! We ate til we were full and still couldn't help but get a few sausage rolls to go... I could go on, but I just made myself hungry so I'll see you there!
Amazing home made pies. Mash is my recommended side and they even have a range of vegan and vegetarian pastry based options!
This is the second time of visiting the pieman. Just as good as the first. Reasonably priced given its central to Temple Bar
Small cafe that serves pie and craft beer in bottle in Temple bar. A nice respite from the crowds in Temple bar. Quick service and decent crust on the pie.
Fantastic pies, and just like everyone else, I would also recommend the Guinness pie. The cafe also offers a very generous student lunch discount.
Super good meatpies! Good prices too. Make sure you get a side of potatoes too. It's worth it.
Great Irish Pie! It's similar to a pot pie in the United States! Great flavor, and the food was piping hot! I'm sure all the flavors were great, we went with the Chicken, Leek, and Cheddar pie
