If you like overpriced mediocre food with horrible service then this is your place. Been here 3 times and all 3 times I’ve had really bad experiences. Food tasting like cooking gas, wrong order being brought out, waiting over an hour for food to arrive and it’s cold; it’s all part of the allure for this place. If you want a better experience go to any of the local Dominican restaurants in the neighborhood. You’re better off eating Chinese food, Pizza or McDonalds. Oh let us not forget no cards are accepted, in 2020, at an establishment where you’ll pay about 20-30 per plate

Food was perfect from taste to Presentation. Everything was delicious. Friendly staff and very helpful. I just didn't like the waiting for food part. Wish it was a little faster or at least some kind of bread or something for the wait. Overall the Atmosphere was welcoming!
Beautiful plating and atmosphere, but the wait time was too long. We had to wait a long time to get in and then once we were seated it took a long time for our food to come. The food was ok. Definitely not good enough for the price.
It's a great small cozy restaurant. The food is great and she's also trying new plates to her customers from Tomahawk steak, Lambs chop and Surf and Turf to many more. Yala is a very creative chef. Great customer services. The only purpose I didn't gave them a five is because they don't take credit card/debit and they don't sell beers or anything type of alcohol.
I ordered and paid a picadera a week before Dec 24th, 2020 which costed 75, when I go to pick it up on the 24th around 5pm, there was a big line outside the restaurant which took me about 1 hour and 20 min to get inside the restaurant, when I finally made it in, they told me the picadera was not ready (such picadera was already paid and ordered in advance), they told me I had to wait 20min so they can get it done, after 20 min passed I asked about the picadera and they were still doing it, after like 2 hours and 20 min, they finally gave me the picadera without apologizing for saying anything, I wrote her a comment on Instagram, about the customer service in the restaurant and she blocked me. Excellent Yala i really hope you continue to give such great customer service.
