We had Christmas day lunch at the Black Horse. Absolutely fantastic. The welcome was good, the table was ideal, the service was great and the food was perfect. We regularly eat out on Christmas day and adjust our expectations accordingly, but this was the first Christmas day lunch that we have had at the Black Horse and there was absolutely nothing to be disappointed about. Thank you!

Excellent service, lovely food. Had a lovely evening out, benefited from a special eat out deal and the steak was well cooked. My wife also loves their pistachio pud.
The best fish soup I've had outside of France, and perfectly cooked roast beef with trimmings. Everything including service was perfect. I will definitely be back.
Friendly discreet staff. Good menu and variety of choice. Food - very good and lovely atmosphere. Had fab lunch andcreally enjoyed ourselves. Definitely go again.
Nice ambience, good food. Not rushed - or left waiting, pleasant mix. Chairs could have been a little more comfortable, but not a big deal. I would happily go back. Had fish curry, which was delicious. Good portion size. Left feeling comfortably full.
