First time I have stopped off at Burrowbridge and Burrow Mump. Given it was very late December and the conditions, weather and light were not as great, plus flooding was evident and all around, it was an interesting, if a tad wet, muddy and treacherous in places. The Mump and riverside being obvious places and where there are no steps available....all in all though a different dramatic backdrop to what the Somerset Levels are all about

Rather slidy and steep, but small, wild, interesting and with great views over the Levels, especially when they're flooded
Great place to take your family for a quick walk up. Can get muddy, but it's fun to have a bit of a run around at the top, and it offers great views of the levels. When open, the King Alfred is a great place nearby to stop for a post walk lunch
I love this place. Great exercise climbing up (not for the unfit or faint hearted). Wonderful views of the Levels on a clear day. After you've expended all that energy there's a great pub nearby.
Good place to see the surrounding wetlands.
