We went to The Ship for a couple of lunches while in Swanage recently. Both times were an excellent experience. The fish salad (pictured) was superb as was the Mexican inspired special. Also recommended the fish & chips and well kept hand pump ale. We have been before and I'm sure we will be back.

Excellent. First night back after lockdown and the excitement was real. Beautifully decorated. I love the combo of a lovely restaurant mixed with a pub vibe. Excellent food and great atmosphere. Service was really good as well! Well done Ship in! Classy.

Amazing service, asked for a single meal to share as we weren't particularly hungry. They served us a gigantic seafood salad, full of prime shellfish and salmon. Very tasty and couldn't finish it all between two of us, very impressed and will be returning!

Good food and good draft ales, fairly priced (for Swanage). Service decent also. Only minor negatives, bit of a wait for food, no info given on the food offers which only appeared as a surprise on the receipt.

Great place to eat and can't be beaten on their Yorkshire puddings. Sharon and Alfie are the perfect hosts. Good friendly pub.
