I did a roman blind course with 4 other like minded ladies. I haven't used my machine in years and only really used it for playing around and making handbags, so although I was a novice in comparison to the others, I enjoyed the class. It was a nice social gathering and we shared various thoughts and comments on The Sewing Bee TV show, pros and cons of made to measure blinds and the new poles, and life in general. It was a pleasant way to spend a day and I came away with a sense of achievement!
