I've been suffering from occasional migraines for the past decade, but recently (with increased job pressure causing me to spend 12 hours behind a computer screen some days) they had begun to increase in frequency. I spoke to my GP who suggested buying some amber lensed glasses to filter out the blue light as this can be a trigger for migraines. As I already wear prescription glasses I had to buy an oversized pair of amber lensed glasses to wear over my normal glasses. They helped hugely, but they were very cumbersome and having to wear two pairs of glasses at once wasn't comfortable. I sought out somewhere that would be able to supply prescription amber lensed glasses so I'd only need to wear the one pair throughout my working day. I tried most of the high street optician chains, but none of them were able to make me the prescription amber glasses that would help curtail my migraines. Then I spoke to an old friend who I remembered worked at Glyn Jones and asked if it was something they could help with, she told me they could and I called them to make an appointment. I have been using the glasses they made every day for the past month and they've helped immeasurably with the migraines, and I find I'm sleeping better as my eyes aren't being subjected to as much blue light. Both Pip and Kelly were very helpful, and I cannot recommend Glyn Jones Opticians enough.

My experience with Glyn Jones Opticians from start to finish was world class. I'm sure the gentleman was named Neil Huxley, hopefully that's his name. I'm unsure of the name of the lady who was also excellent. Thank you Neil & thank you Glyn Jones Opticians. Your pinpoint advice has put my mind at rest & I'll definitely be purchasing my glasses from here in the future. Top class shop, top people, top customer journey.

I have visited Glyn Jones a few times now, and always been impressed by the service there, the optician was very re-assuring and explained everything, and when I've had problems with my eyes, gave me lots of helpful tips to stop the problems recurring. The staff are also friendly and helpful, without being pushy, they will give you advice about frames if you want it, but also leave you alone to browse and try on glasses if you would rather do that. There are styles to suit all tastes and budgets and lots of choice and i am pleased with my new glasses and the overall experience at Glyn Jones.
