This place was a proper little treasure trove we found completely by accident on a detour to a hotel nearby, we originally thought of stopping somewhere for a really light bite as we knew we would be eating later on at our hotel. Walking in it looked like any other pub/restaurant, but stepping outside to their beer garden at the back we were taken to a little meditarranean hideaway, you really could have been anywhere in the world, it had a beautiful Italian courtyard feel and was the perfect spot for lunch on a sunny day. Service was great and the food was really delicious and all proper homemade. The Olive Grove is somewhere I'd love to visit again, definitely somewhere with pleasant surprises a plenty!

Food was absultely spot on we really enjoyed it! It was a good little find especially considering we are not from the area.
My wife and I chose to go to the Olive Grove this evening and we both had curry. I had the Malayan and, having travelled extensively in the middle and Far East, I can truly say it was one of the best I have ever had. There was plenty of tender chicken along with what I felt was just the right amount of various vegetables and it certainly wasn't at all watery.
very disappointed...we waited over 40 minutes for our meal which would have be fine if it had been enjoyable. 3 of our party of 4 ordered curries..a malayan, a Korma and green tia...all off them were very watery...hot and spicy..and full of vegetables....not what you would expect for a Korma or Malayan...we left most of the meal and would not recommend or return.
