The place setting is interesting, they arranged it as an old javanese house complete with a large frontyard, backyard and trees which make me go and having flashback on my childhood in central java. The soto is cheap but worthed, our favorite menu is bakmi godog, which cooked and serve in a short time so that you dont feel bored waiting. The coffee stall opens a little bit late but it is also attract coffee lover to enjoy both of the javanese culinary at the same time with some different varian of coffee.

The owner was kind and warm. I love the bold ethnic javanese architecture, feels like we were somewhere in the village of the central java but unfortunately there were so many mosquitos in there as the resto is an open space. Maybe because of the trees and bushes around the place. They really should plant some sereh or lavender to get rid of those mosquitos because they're really annoying. The food? Sorry but not so good. The satay i ordered was served cold. I mean like ice cold. The soto kudus was okay, but not for the savoury food fans. It already served with sweetsoy sauce that makes the soto taste a bit too sweet (for me). Everything else also taste a bit too sweet for me.
Not recomended resto...
You will be served by quite authentic Central Javanese traditional dishes.. Soto Ayam and Garang Asem from Kudus Bakmi Djowo from Djogdja or Solo Tahu Gimbal and Tahu Telor from Semarang And everything else.. Have nice meals.. Have good food for your good tummies Be good people..

Cozy place
Cozy place.
