I highly recommend classes at SkandiHus. I did the taster class with a friend. We hardly spoke throughout the class as we were in the zone creating our pieces. Felt completely relaxed. Our teacher Stick was a massive cutie and was so accommodating and friendly. And put on some cool tunes to create a vibe. They also took safety really seriously and took lots of precautions for social distancing. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Loved it!

I loved my 12 week course with Karine at Skandihus in De Beauvoir. Working with clay has been so therapeutic, such a lovely activity to escape screens for a few hours a week. Karine is so knowledgeable and patient with her students, I hope to be able to book another course soon!
Great atmosphere, great teachers, great classes. We were welcomed into a private class and loved every second. Even have some imperfect (but perfect) results. Highly recommend.
I have just finished a 6 week course at the Clapton studio, and totally fell in love with making pottery. Our tutor was really helpful and encouraging, and taught us all the basics of hand building, throwing and glazing in the bright and peaceful studio. I came away from each class feeling a renewed sense of relaxation and creativity. It was great to do something practical (and messy!) too. I look forward to picking up my pieces, and would recommend a course to anyone interesting in trying out pottery.
I did a 6 week course here and it was brilliant! in a beautiful studio, very relaxing and I went from knowing nothing to producing 3 items using different techniques (wheel throwing, punch pots and slab). Some people in my class were much more experienced - it doesn’t matter what level you are - the class is tailored for everyone. Would love to come back!
