Been looking for a new carpet since before Christmas, difficult in the current lockdown situation. Jayne at Wilsons has been extremely helpful in sending out various samples, answering all of my questions and arranging our fit. She said she was on furlough but kept popping to the shop to maintain customer service which I don't doubt for one minute- she even gave me her own mobile number so I could text her with my many questions. Fitter (Carl) was excellent, arrived early but phoned ahead to check it was OK to do so, wore a mask, extremely polite,he even asked if it was OK to pop my full length curtains over the curtain rail out of the way and didn't just assume it would be alright. He was very professional and a tidy worker, did a great job with the fit. Really pleased with my carpet, the price was very reasonable, service was excellent - can't ask for more Thank you Wilsons Carpets I would recommend you to family and friends without hesitation.

The customer service was great when buying the flooring for our new home. Had the same laminate flooring in kitchen and hallway and room but different colours. 18months later the kitchen floor is showing excessive wear. Emailed with pictures. Response was it was our cleaning product but hallway and room cleaned exactly same no wear or tear. Company in my eyes accept there's a issue by offering a cash good will gesture.

Really happy with the service here. Been a couple of times in last few years and have always been really easy and helped as quickly as asked. Felt safe with Covid messures also. And now I have a lovely carpet aswell! Thank you!

I was extremely disappointed in the professionalism of the carpet fitters. I was told the fitters would arrive in the afternoon and it would be the last job of the day. We then had a phone call in the morning from the fitters saying they would be arriving shortly. We had to tell them no because we had the builders in finishing the skirting boards so this was not possible. This shouldn’t have been an issue as we were specifically told last job of the day ,not the first. I think because of this issue the fitters acted in a rude manner when they turned up later that day. They came with the wrong bar and admitted they had used ours on another job. We told them we wanted the correct one we had paid for and they told us we had to ring Wilson’s to sort it and they also said “ if they think we are calling back for free to fit that it’s not happening” I couldn’t believe the response, they made the mistake so you would think they would be the ones to put it right. We contacted Wilson’s carpets and was told someone would call the next morning first thing to put it right. This didn’t happen, it was the last job of the day. I had to get my mum to sit in and wait , which wasn’t a problem when it should have been 9, but it was after 2pm . When we phoned the store to check why they hadn’t turned up we didn’t have an apology. Due to these reasons I will not use Wilson’s again as I feel the service was very poor and unprofessional.

Bought several carpets from the Handsworth shop and aways had great service from Jayne, who is always very helpful and full of sound advice. There is a very good selection of carpets to choose from, and the ones I have had fitted have always been good quality and look great. I cant recommend them highly enough.
