Looks like an excellent course all the way up the hillside with the castle overlooking every hole. They were friendly staff, good facilities. Will be a test off the back tees but only a couple of lakes !

Love this course, playing beautifully now post Italian PGA, just wish I could get out more often to enjoy it. It a great resource for Umbria and improving in conditioning all the time.

Hard to find a more spectacularly beautiful setting for a challenging and well-kept golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr and extensively renovated in 2018. Expected to become an international golf resort when the 12th century castle becomes a 5-star hotel, now is the time to enjoy a round on this amazing course and a good lunch afterwards at the Boiola restaurant.

My wife and I played it this week, there had been a lot of rain on Sunday but I didn't expect all and I do mean all the bunkers to be wet and 50% to have standing water in them three days later. The course has great views, the design is interesting and forgiving in the main, but I think a low handicapper might find it a little to easy, perhaps that was because we lifted and dropped out of every bunker. There is a lot of investment planned and it has potential but I think they should be cutting green fees by a third whilst the improvements are put in place. Good food in the club house and the facilities were ok. We will play again before the end of our fortnight in Tuscany and see if the bunkers have improved.
