Great option in this neighborhood for basic produce (bell pepper, cabbage, carrots, cilantro, etc.) less than Safeway and is local. I go for the packages of buckwheat and also get eggs and produce while there. Sometimes seems to have very fresh rye bread delivered, but I don't know when. No fresh meat but has smoked fish, caviar, cured sausage. The Russian groceries are fun to try unusual things (check expiration dates on packages). I find the staff friendly enough, and find the negs by other reviewers on this point inappropriate--it's a neighborhood grocery, not Disneyland.

I like this Grocery Store for the good variety of European and Russian food. Although you should be careful and CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATE of the products ‘cause it may be as soon as next week. The stuff is not very friendly but it is truly an authentic feature of the Russian cashiers :)
Great variety of Russian products. We entered looking for a cold drink and... French people be aware we found here a true jewel as they have the perfect meat and sauerkraut for a perfect choucroute! We had a blast! Enjoy !
