I loved this Christmas market! I honestly went only for Krampus parade but I had a blast doing that alone. The market itself is a pretty good size and invites visitors to spend time browsing a wonderful array of goodies and gifts for the holiday season. There's even a whole little forested section with playhouses for kids and a petting zoo. I didn't get to the actual zoo portion but I don't see why families couldn't make a whole day of this by doing this zoo then the market later.

Located outside of the heart of Salzburg, you need to take the public bus 25 for about 30 minutes to reach here, the Hellbrunn Christmas market is probably my top Christmas markets to visit in Salzburg. It's less crowded with many different stalls, and feels more magical with its light displays and the different exhibits other than just the stalls. Its gardens are converted to displays that come alive during the night and highly recommend to visit after the sun sets. The food here are amazing, love the fish soup sold by one of the stalls. Everything feels romantic here and really enjoyed our time here.
Beautiful location with amazing shops! It's worth the trip over there via bus! Great time!

Outstanding! Their Krampusnacht event was really fun! Be sure to stand at the path facing the main residence so you get the most of the show.
Beautiful and very festive. Excellent stalls selling some lovely crafts and delicious food. All pretty reasonable too. Our 5 year old loved the children's area.
Wonderful! Just like a fairytale. Absolutely worth it. And a loooooot of amazing food. Especially I suggest Bosna (sandwich with sausage and mustard) and a potato with inside cheese and speck
This is our second time visiting the Hellbrunn Christmas Market. What a special place indeed. It's small, but full of character with the children's area with a petting zoo, a Krampus area to 'scare' kids (all in good fun), good food and a lovely castle.
