Not happy with the way the Retford stores operate with only by appointment to purchase prescription glasses. I do not like to buy glasses off online I like to see the product try them on before purchasing. I work Mon-Friday during the office hours. Not able to book appointments online looks like all booked. Guys covid-19 shouldn't be an excuse we need to live our life. You need to run the business at the same time. If this carries on you wouldn't have many customers ,how you would pay your staffs and soon you know what to expect ! The most annoying thing is on last Sunday morning around 10-11 a.m I been to the store without appointment ,I went in because I could see no customers inside the store and still the staff at front desk didn't let me browse and buy the glasses. ( I was even wearing a mask at that time with my son, check the cameras if you want to 30/08/2020 ) . Be practical, flexible and sensible guys. It is disgusting. Start operating the store like other stores and supermarkets do their business. Pls don't give an excuse of Covid . We need to just find a safe measures to operate the business as usual !!! Not happy at all with this store

I have accompanied my 88 year old mother on two occasions recently to Specsavers in Retford for replacement glasses .The staff have always been pleasant and professional .The system of queuing outside is not ideal for the elderly and frail , my mother was left waiting outside in the pouring rain and cold. Whilst I appreciate safety systems need to be adhered to this is hardly sympathetic and needs a rethink as we approach the winter months

Made an appointment for my 2 children. I received a phone call to go over the new rules. I am then told that only 1 adult and 1 child can attend. So what am I supposed to do about the other child I have? This doesn't make any sense to me. Its hard for those single parents out there, childcare (especially with the COVID situation), working parents that make these appointments after their work times? This needs to be changed as I think its silly. They said 1 parent can bring 1 child, and the other parent can bring the other child. All from the same household so what is the problem? 1 adult and 2 kids should be fine! Appoinment had to be cancelled in the end!

Hi had an eye test this morning with Claire. Absolutely brilliant. In fact the whole experience was very well managed, hardy any waiting, and covid precautions were excellent. I \self prescribed\ some glasses previously and they were totally inappropriate, so I had a telling off from Claire, (in the nicest way), made me laugh.
