Superb craftmanship, highly recommended! As well as being a thoroughly nice guy, Barry is a master in his art and highly knowledgeable about the important and time-consuming work of stainglass. Barry repaired the stainglass in our frontdoor, and looks absolutely perfect. Barry's prices are competitive, and I would have no hesitation recommending him to anyone. I would compare this to Reading Stain Glass who were rude, dismissive and I'm still awaiting for the work to be carried out, despite taking a deposit from me 4 months ago! I hired Barry of Leadcraft Stained Glass to restore and repair a Victorian front door. All I can say was the job was done to perfection. Not only did he go out of his was to source period glass to keep the traditional feel of the glass panels but did so at a very reasonable rate. This is not the only benefit of choosing this company as Barry was always very helpful and honest and gave me great customer service in great contrast to Reading Stained Glass who were rude on the phone, and made me chase them up when we had arrange a quote. Would recommend highly to anyone in the Reading area looking for stain-glass specialists.
The entrance to our house had an original stain glass side panel but only plain glass in the front door panel as it must have broken and been replaced prior to us buying the house. Leadcraft have now matched it to the side panel and we now have a beautiful stained glass door just as it would have been originally. The colours and design are perfect and you would think it was the original panel. We are over the moon with it and would recommend Leadcraft.
Barry has now completed four jobs for me for my listed cottage in Henley on Thames, I find his work perfect. He is a true craftsman and gentleman and cannot do enough to help. Strongly recommended.
