This turned out to be my favorite place in Prague. I was one of only two people that spoke English, but the entire staff is great. Thank God for Google translate. They only take cash. I went there three different times. Loved it and true Czech food that is fantastic and for a great price.

Great people. Superb beer.
Fantastic Czech specialities with delicious meat. Very well prepared, tasty and tender. Not the cheapest (but by no means expensive either), but definitely worth the price. Rather narrow selection of beer, but the beer is good itself.
Great food; local Czech cuisine, pretty much anyone can choose a specific food they'll love. Our meals were mostly very salty though. Recommended nonetheless.
Great local pub. Not just great Czech beer, but the kitchen is good too.
The food is very good and you have a big selection of chez food. The plav ce looks more like a pub than a restaurant but it is very good. No tourists there.
Very tasty food, traditional, with modern twist. Excellent service.
