Pretty annoyed to turn up at 10pm after dropping the truck off as its our local--no customers in but they wouldn't serve us a coffee and when I offered to bring in a copy of Hubs CPC, the guy said he didn't want an argument. The foods been getting more hit and miss and the service is typical of someone who just wanted an easy shift in front of the telly. Sad times for a truck stop we'd been using often-do yourself a favour and find somewhere more welcoming for your break!

Truck park looking very tired, huge dips be aware. Access getting worse, cars and transporters everywhere. Lanterns need to be told to sort it.

Any driver avoid this place during the pandemic, 36 to park when you wake up your blocked in. There is no food at the truck stop and Welcome Break KFC closes at 2000hrs but your lucky if they have anything left by 7.

To all those who want to leave a review, please do not mistake the Welcome Break Truckstop for South Mimms Services, the former will give you good food (Hot or Cold), the service is excellent while the later is what it is, going there for food is reminiscent of Feeding Time at the Zoo. The original Truckstop was South Mimms Services, but then they built \The Zoo\ and called that South Mimms Services.
