What a treasure of a find. Has some of the oldest medieval wall paintings in Europe. We were very lucky to have a lady there to welcome us and bring to life the history of the tower and the explanation of the painting on the walls. The way she talked about the art just showed the love and pride of the history of the tower. She just drew us in. Very interesting place and well worth the visit. Hopefully you will also meet this lady who will emerse you with her passion

Great wee tower the art work on the walls is superb just a shame it was busy when we visited today worth a visit though.
It is a converted knight's residence. The volunteers are very helpful and knowledgeable. The location is very good and you can get an idea about how people lived some 700 years ago
A lovely place to visit with an interesting history. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.
What an amazing place. Our guide was very knowledgeable. If you have limited mobility there are quite a few narrow steps internally so it might not be for you. However, the first internal room, which is accessible via a short staircase, might be ok for you and is well worth a visit.
