Terrible experience at their ER. I was taken there via ambulance on two separate nights with an undiagnosed severe infection. They never took my pain seriously or made any effort to diagnose my problem (I speak French just fine). I was left each time for hours in a waiting room, without any care for my severe cramping and nausea. The first time they gave me an IV and sent me off, the second time all they did was take a COVID test and send me home. It took going to another hospital to be immediately admitted and treated for a *life-threatening* bacterial infection. I wish I could sue for their neglect as I begged them for help for my pain and got blank faces in response. I hope others do not have the same experience.

I just got out of the hospital for a small infected wound on my hand caused by a bike accident. Although the waiting hour is very long (near 5 hours), but the 2 doctors and 1 nurse who treated me are really really caring and nice! Thank you so much ! I’ve been in France for 5 years and never visited a hospital before. This time is nice, although the waiting hour is long. I got taken care of.

A family member on holiday in Paris was drugged while in a crowd at the Eiffel Tower yesterday. The police took her and her friend (who was also drugged) to this hospital. They literally lost track of two hours, and had no idea what had happened to them. The staff made an immediate assessment that the girls were simply \Drunk Americans\, sat them down, cursed at them for crying, and did nothing for 2 hours. When we finally got in touch with them, they made a half-hearted attempt of pretending to assess her, and again said they were drunk. They were not drunk. A review of the situation revealed that a stranger in the Eiffel crowd asked them to photograph him and during that time something was slipped into their drinks. The staff was rude and did not provide ample assessment. They refused to listen. Shameful, unprofessional behavior from adults in an profession that requires empathy and thoroughness. Very disappointing.

The staff are professional and considering all they have to put up with, extremely patient. Left my passport and they took the time to actually get in touch with the hostel I was staying at.

I had a myomectomy 3 days ago at hospital Cochin. I really wanted to thank all the staff for their kindness, patience and professionalism, day and night. I was a little apprehensive initially but everyone put me at ease. Docteur Marzouk is an excellent surgeon and gynecologist who showed empathy and has been very available to answer my multiple questions prior to surgery. I have no hesitation recommending the gynecology service at hospital Cochin.
