On a cold, rainy night we greatly enjoyed the beautifully lit, cozy environment and delicious, homey food at Micouleau. We had onion soup, salad with croutons and gizzards, cassoulet and duck stuffed with foie gras. Dessert was a just-right apple tarte with ice cream and coffee. Cider and mineral water to drink. Good casual service and fairly priced.

This place offers the kind of food I value the most, the foie gras (and other stuff like cassoulet, magrets etc.), so this review may be a bit biased :) That being said, I regularly pay a visit to them when the craving for duck or goose becomes unbearable, and I am never disappointed! Besides they have the boutique next to the restaurant where you can buy the product they cook to bring back home. So I strongly recommend when you are in Monparnasse and are fed up with crepes!

Mission Sabotage

J'ai trouvé le cassoulet que j'étais venu chercher. Le menu est à 18 (entrée/plat ou plat/dessert) avec un cassoulet fondant qu'on mange à la cuillère et comme le pain est très bon aussi, on sauce sa cassolette avec gourmandise. La salle est propre et le service est pro. A noter qu'ils proposent des bières artisanales d'Occitanie.
