Can only rate for takeaway, as that's all they're able to do at the moment. Absolutely amazing though, and an excellent price. You'd pay double this in London, easily. Had the sharing platter and it was stunning, really good quality food. Highly recommended, and will definitely be trying again once places are able to open up as normal (or near to it!)

Absolutely amazing BBQ from Pappy's. Gigantic portion sizes and the meat was delicious. Ordered online and had it delivered, great service from Robin and the Pappy's team, will be ordering again.
excellent food. I had the tipsy Texan. well worth the money if say, huge burger. can't wait to try more. however.... kendal isn't in the lake District. just sayin.
Lisa Quarmby Had the platter delivered by pappy’s on the 21st November and I can honestly say it was fantastic. It was hot, tasty and so succulent. The portions were substantial and well worth it. Thank you Robin for going above and beyond.
As a former New Yorker, I have eaten a lot of excellent barbecue, and Pappy’s certainly ranks amongst the best of them. What a pleasant surprise to find such authentic and delicious barbecue in the Lake District!
