I came to Richard at very short notice with the aim of creating a body of work for my university interviews. Over the next 2 weeks I attended both 1 to 1 and group sessions and Richard was able to teach me how to create a two part mould sculpture, ideal for my university application. His patience and expertise meant that I learnt a detailed process very quickly and was able to produce something I was happy with. Richard went out of his way to ensure I would have a completed sculpture and I have a lot to thank him for. Using the sculpture I produced, I was offered an unconditional place at university and will begin a 3D Design and Craft course at Brighton in September, a great deal of the reason I’m able to do this is down to Richard’s time, commitment and love for his practice.
