Beautiful place to walk dogs and see wild life, have been using Ladybelt for some time as I love taking the dogs with my husband, unfortunately it has been getting harder and harder to park as because of lockdown more and more families are using the park. I appreciate the park will not be used so much when the children go back to school but it is very busy at weekends. As a suggestion, the wooded area adjacent to the car park, could that not be used for extra car parking space. Today 19/02/21 we tried to use the park and as on many other days had to come away without using the park as unable to park the car. Plus, parking was unobtainable across the road by the fields which has been used in the past.

We have only recently gotten around to walking here however today we took the plunge!! The car park is quite small but there is a little overflow over the road. However the area to walk in is pretty and had some great dens to add to/build in the woods, some blackberries to pick, insects and butterflies to spot (although today these were few and far between) and some lovely benches to sit at. Taking a picnic and having a nice relaxed lunch would be great there and there is lots of space just to run around, trees to hide behind and puddles to splash in!! The ice house is a nice little feature to visit on your walk as well as finding some lovely carved animals. We spent a couple of hours here just wandering so a nice afternoon or morning outing. Take care near the ponds - the banks are quite muddy (they are trying to grow some plants but they are not taking well) and a child can easily get down to them and get in as there is no fences so make sure to keep a hold of small people

Beautiful country park, picnic benches, ponds and wildlife. Car park on site. Doggy bin on site. No toilets or other facilities. A beautiful green space.
