Beautiful place, very interesting for kids. Nice place to have a coffee or ice cream - small shop nearby and plenty of parking.

Even if the waterfall itself was frozen , its still a beautiful sight and well worth a visit.

Beautiful waterfall! Easy access from the road. Free parking, souvenir store and WC facilities are available. Can go behind the waterfall and take pictures. Cosy town of Norheimsund is near by and is worth to visit.

Unique waterfall with trails leading right behind the falls giving visitors a great and close-up view.

Fantastic waterfall that you can walk safely behind. Nature showing it's tremendous force. Very cool. If you pass anywhere close by this place, make a pitstop here!

Nice quick stop on your way to the hardangerfjord. It’s a 5 minute walk from your car and you can walk underneath a really beautiful waterfall. And when i visited it was free to go.

One of the greatest waterfalls (in my opinion) around Bergen. The waterfall is very impressive on its own, but the main attraction here is that it's possible to walk behind the roaring water up to a viewpoint from which you can enjoy the scenery of the waterfall, and the farms, mountains and fields leading eastward to the town of Norheimsund. The waterfall is easy to get to by car, with a big parking lot a 3min walk away. In summer there are two tourist shops open right by the river below the waterfall, as well as several public toilets. Steinsdalfossen is definitely worth a visit if should find yourself near Hardanger (:
