Great local place for picking your own fruit, the best strawberries I have ever had
like
Myself wife and 2 kids met the charming owner Claudia today. It was a pleasure to talk to her and hear her recommendations for Cornish destinations since we are on holiday from Glasgow. The strawberries are the best we have ever had and there were literally thousands ripe ready for the picking. Claudia gave us the tip to keep the stalks on them as they stay fresher for longer. This was great advice as 24hrs later they are still as fresh as when they were picked. The PYO are in plastic tunnels and waist high so no sore backs. I can highly recommend and will be back before he head back home.
Excellent service and bright spirits despite lockdown restrictions, the fruit was in great condition and all the areas were clearly signposted for ease of movement around. Definitely a great way to spend a couple of hours in Lockdown Cornwall!
