my favorite spot for dry hot pot! been coming here for years and it’s amazing each time. the outdoor set up is cozy and warm!
Came for a Sunday night dinner with a group of four. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived around 5:30 pm. The menu was extensive, with options for dry hotpot, stews and other dishes. My group decided to focus on the dry hot pot which was ordered at the counter. There was a variety of protein to choose from as well as veggies. We were also able to adjust the level of spice in the food. My group ended up creating two bowls, one with beef and one with seafood. Overall the protein was fresh and was served in ample quantity (probably because we pay by pound). On the other hand I wished that there were a wider selection for the green vegetables. Our basket for the vegetables also wasn't loaded up well. The employee who was loading up our basket was also a little curt with us since this was our first time here and we were a little confused as to how the ordering process works. The food was delicious and very well flavored. It also came it very quickly from the kitchen. I left with a full stomach and a tingly sensation on my tongue from the peppercorns.
This place is my jam. Amazing dry got pot. Really hope they survive the pandemic. G-ds got my back because these are the same guys in the New World Mall Food Court and I stay between 8th Street and Flushing so now I have a spot in both locations!!!
You get to choose what proteins and veggies you want. Outdoor seating is available but only 4-5 tables. Reasonably priced and great taste!
