On one of my recent visits to the big apple i found myself craving Spanish food but not just any Spanish food, i specifically wanted food that could mentally transport me back to Puerto Rico and to my fortune, after an hour of walking i find this small place called Casa Adela. If you've lived in the island I'm sure you would've felt the same, i immediately knew this was the right place. The minute we got there they took care of us even though they were not ready to open yet. They placed an umbrella, table and chairs for us outside and took our order. These service was excellent. There waiter was very friendly and efficent. The food did the trick to transport me back to my island and i was very satisfied. I look forward to another visit to try some mofongo or some sea food salad. If you're craving that good Spanish food and great service i advice to pay them a visit and treat yourself and your taste buds.

One of the last true great Puerto Rican restaurants in New York City. You literally can't go wrong with anything from their menu. But my personal recommendations would be the mofongo with pernil and the arroz con gandules. Let's do everything in our power to keep this place around and enjoy genuine cuisine made with love.

This place has the BEST authentic Puerto Rican food. Feels like I’m on the island when I eat here. The mofongo, the arroz con pernil, the sancocho is AMAZING and flavorful. Go here yall
