After looking at reviews and ratings of great seafood to eat on Block Island, we decided on Beachhead and I’m so glad we did. I started with a delicious margarita and crab cakes as an app. It was the best crab cakes I’ve ever had, I think I’ll dream about them. I had the baked haddock for an entree and my partner had the seafood fra diavolo. Both were soooo good! The haddock has a lot of flavor and came with a decent amount of veggies and mashed potatoes. The fra diavolo was perfect with just enough spice and plenty of large scallops, shrimp and chucks of lobster. I’m very particular about my seafood and how it’s made/cooked and all of the food was fabulous. Would highly recommend. Very dog friendly as well!

The restaurant is easily accessible to public beach access. We ordered a kids burger (which was good but pricy) a kids Mac and cheese (which was ridiculously priced at 7 and small with no sides), the garlic shrimp appetizer (again, very small, 5 shrimp for 15), and the wedge salad (good, but 10 for a quarter head of iceberg lettuce and not even one whole piece of bacon). The food was acceptable but the prices were way out of line with the quality and quantity of the food.
We had a great lunch here! The food and drinks are tasty (the latter are a little watered down though) and not super expensive. Staff is very friendly and the service is swift. There’s 6ft between all tables and you need to wear a mask to enter.
Great bar and restaurant close to the beach! The clams and crab sandwich were really good.
We ordered take out. Got the chicken strips kids meals and pretzel. The batter on chicken was good. The pretzels were delicious! Reasonable prices on both items. Will get again when fried mood strikes.
