When I order a piano online, it's with the expectation that the store will take responsibility for the delivery service it chooses to use and communicate with the customer about the delivery. If the delivery service cannot bring the piano into the house, that 's fine: but this should be communicated clearly to the customer. Not everyone can move heavy merchandise by themselves. The piano I ordered was not delivered in the timeframe given. I then found myself with a piano suddenly on my doorstep. The delivery personnel refused to help me bring it into the house. So my merchandise worth several hundreds of euros was left outside, unattended, while I tried to find someone who could help me bring it in. I brought this fact to the attention of Michenaud staff: their response was that the delivery service is not their responsibility. Fine, but this should be COMMMUNICATED TO THE CUSTOMER. That's the last time I use their website.
