Like the taste of the food here and the items are quite reasonably priced. Would recommend the Ikan Bandeng Millenium and the Sambal with Ikan Bilis.

Ambience: cosy. A bit more upscale compared to other Batam eateries (probably cos more expensive as well) Food: my go to place for food Everytime I come Batam. Each dish is well cooked, quality is consistent and selection of drinks are great. Fresh drinks available - so good. Service: great! Very friendly and helpful. English is not great so just need to be patient. Cost/Value for money: Super good price for Super good indon food! (Fyi Probably a place for tourists. I’m sure locals will find much cheaper options)

Simple ok local food. I take a seat outside of their actual restaurant because inside their restaurant have no aircon and it smell. Just right outside the restaurant have plenty of seats which you can choose to buy any food from any stall without being chase away, in fact the staffs don’t bored. Batam people have slow foot step so don’t chase and hurry the staff. This restaurant serve fresh nice fried fish as shown in photos. I should say it’s the best choice to order the fried fish, it taste good and not too oily. The rest of the food taste so so.

We came here for a late lunch and there was a lot of empty seats. This place is like a food court with many different restaurants to choose from. You can order from different restaurants to share. We decided to just go with Warung cobain. We ordered a few dishes to share and everything was delicious. Just beware of the spicyness level. Their chilli is quite spicy. But overall a great place to grab lunch at an affordable price.

My friends and me had some nasi lemak, fried fish and chicken sate. The food was wonderful. The waitress who attended to us was very helpful and friendly. Credit card is accepted here. Had to wait awhile for the busy staff before we could pay for our meal at the end though.
