The caves themselves exceeded expectations and presented nature in all its glory. The visit takes 30 / 40 minutes and the guide shows a truly understand and love of the caves. It's a magical world create by nature. Definitely put it on the list if you're visiting Nazare or Fatima.

Absolutely worth seeing it, when you are around. Very nice atmosphere and impressing sculptures formed by Nature. We were almost the only visitors.

The caves are impressive. The tour guide was a gentleman that was very knowledgeable and keen on his job, but his lengthy talk and frequent pauses were a bit too much for our 6 and 3 year-old kids.

Fascinating place. The guide who showed us the rock formations had an incredible love and decades of experience to share with us. This is amazing limestone lace made over dozens of thousands of years. Pictures cannot do it justice, you have to dive in. Unmissable. Being from this area of Portugal I remember being there as a child and this only adds to the fascination.
