One of the worst hospitals i have been to. Don't get me wrong, it is clean and professional. However, my needs weren't met at all. I was referred there by my provider due to severity of my symptoms. First of all, the receptionist completely ignored me and did not let me know i needed to come to the front to get checked in. However, was more than happy to help someone else when they came in right after me. When told to change into a gown in a freezing room, nobody brought me a blanket until a nurse walked in and saw me balled up from the cold. This particular nurse gave no eye contact and was very nonchalant. I went in for UTERUS pains, all for them to check for appendicitis. Surprise! I didn't have it. I had to leave, still in horrible pain, and when I complained to a nurse about my experience, she shrugged it off by asking if I wanted a doctors note to be out of work for two days. No, I want to know what is going on with me. Now I have wasted valuable money and time all for nothing and will still have to follow up with someone else. Thanks a whole lot. Definitely do not recommend if you have a choice in it.

This is one of the most beautiful hospitals I have ever visited. The staff here is so friendly and helpful as well. It can be hard to find your way around this facility, though I have found that to be a good way to find cool additions to make this a place of refreshment as well. This hospital is faith based and open about it. You will find people to pray with if you are wanting that in your healing process. The chaplains are amazing here and represent a broad spectrum of faiths.

10/10 would recommend. Out of all the hospitals I've visited, this is the best one to have an emergency...on a more serious note. They've treated multiple family members and myself and always have received excellent care. Very affordable and timely, attentive to needs and caring, kind staff. Worth the drive if you live anywhere in the KC vicinity.

The GI doctor on staff doesn't have time for you to have family on the phone. So if you want a good bedside manor doc DONT COME HERE. shoot I didn't even get his name cause he was in such a rush cause I APPARENTLY AM NOT IMPORTANT

The care was great, the cost is a bit much. My ER visit consisted of 3 laboratory services and basic vitals taken. The ER bill prior to insurance was 4k. The PA bill prior to insurance was 1k (the PA is billed by a different company.) Total prior to insurance 5,541.87, I was in the ER for less than 3 hours, possibly less than 2 hours. Had to go to the ER because the AdventHealth Centra Care (urgent care) I went to a few days earlier couldn't get my lab results back before the symptoms got worse. The urgent care appointment consisted of 1 laboratory service and basic vital taken. The urgent care bill prior to insurance was 243 for an \Urgent Care Visit\ and \Laboratory Services.\ I'm not sure why there is such a huge difference in cost, since they are owned my the same company. I was expecting a couple thousand dollars different, not 5k. Service was good and speedy at the hospital. Lab test results usually come back in 4 hours at the hospital, according to the PA. It usually takes 4 days to get results from the urgent care. I waited for less than an hour in the waiting room. All the staff members were nice. Everything seemed to move quickly and was clean. The PA called me with the results as soon as she got them, and answered all my questions over the phone. I had to visit the Menorah hospital a couple years ago, it was probably 700 less for the ER Department. I assume their prices have increased, and are probably close to AdventHealth.
