Very well organised and convenient restaurant. They provide generous portions and for inexpensive prices. I enjoyed the menu very much and the staff were very welcoming and chatty. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

This place is amazing! Almost all of their menu items are gluten free and I know they take good care about these allergens. I would recommend this place to anyone craving south Indian food that is gluten free. Their chicken 65, dosa and sambhar was amazing. Plus this is great value for money.

We have been to Amma’s canteen many times with our children. Authentic Indian food with unique dishes. My kids favourite are chilli paneer and karuveppillai eral (curry leaves prawn). Their Milagu kozhi and kari kulambu are are our favourites. The lamb just melt in mouth and reminds mom’s cooking as the name of the restaurant sounds and brings back memories of hometown. Oh and their parottas... so fluffy, flaky and soft!

Love the food and the owner is very friendly. Better than the other South Indian places by a mile. Reduced menu at the moment during lockdown however their menu is SO TASTY. When I've eaten inside, they've had good service and explained items on the menu I hadn't heard of.

This place is beyond amazing. The food is always perfect but the staff are so delightful and despite being incredibly busy they still provided outstanding service
