It’s actually much bigger than expected. Great presentation and assortment of exhibits for all ages. Very impressed!

It was really great, the kids loved it. The museum is not that big but very modern, and the animals are presented in a way that they do not scared children (at least mine). Only thing you should keep in mind is that pushchairs are not allowed, so you think about an alternative if you want to enjoy it proper.

It's just the best museum in the country if you are interested in science. As a geology student, i really appreciate the effort they put in to make it fun to learn about the Earth.

Security staff is not as family friendly as the museum itself. We've been at the Museum with our child of almost 2 years of age. Everything went well until we've reached the first floor. There, we've first got in contact with a Security guard that was very friendly (little corpulent) and told us some interesting stuff about the skeleton on the first floor. Some minutes later, another Security guard showed off (app. 50 yrs old, thin) that walked around on his first floor like he was running the museum. Suddenly he came from the side and spoke to us. It would be forbidden to bring drinks into the museum (knowing that we are talking about our child's baby water bottle). He said we should leave the bottle down and go downstairs every time the child wanted to drink. I then made it clear to the gentleman that we were careful and that the bottle had a safety device so that nothing could leak. That was the end of the conversation. In retrospect, as we proceeded, we were observed by this security guard without a break. The other security guards sat in their chairs and played with their cell phones. Only he apparently saw us as a danger and had to keep an eye on us. I have no problem with the fact that there is a ban on a children's bottle. However, from the entrance we passed at least 5 or 6 guards and no one spoke to us about it. Hence, the fault is definitely with the security guards. It should also be clear that a child at this age cannot go for almost 3 hours without a drink. The visit was nice until we got annoyed by this security guard.
