I can't recommend Jose and his classes enough. I bought a pottery course for my husband as an anniversary gift, as we had wanted to try it for ages. Jose is such a lovely man, and very patient. He made the classes fun and relaxed, as well as being informative on the process. We made some pieces that we absolutely love, and proudly display in our home. We had the best time, and really enjoyed it. Thank you so much Jose, you were a fantastic teacher! Leigh and Robin x

Taking part in one of Jose's workshops is a therapeutic experience...all stress, worries and other issues need to be left at the door to be able to concentrate on the beautiful experience of working clay. A few weeks later you might even be rewarded by some surprisingly nice looking pottery of you very own making! Nothing to compare with Jose's fantastic own creations though, which are on show and sale at his studio and will add character to any home or space.
I was researching pottery studios to have my first pottery class and I came across Jose’s very impressive website. I ofcourse scheduled the class with him and it was a great first experience. His studio is very well equipped. We practiced together on the sculpting wheel and then I had the chance to give it a go myself which was really cool. He is a patient, methodical and inspiring teacher. He is a natural talent in sculpting and I would definitely recommend him and his studio to anyone who is into sculpting and wants to improve their skills and learn more about it.
Jose is warm, friendly and incredibly talented! His work is ambitious and beautiful; his colours are inventive; his shapes are sublime and he is wonderfully easy to talk to about ceramics, his creativity and the works and ideas that inspire him. Highly recommended!!
A great place to learn to make pottery! Jose worked with my son (12) to produce a number of beautiful hand made pottery vases and bowls. Jose is a calm, patient teacher and his work is amazing. You can even browse and buy it at his studio!
