This company got 5 stars when I shipped the first two times. Now they are deserving of 1 star after experiencing the level of unprofessionalism. I shipped with this company and called last Tuesday, Aug 25th to find out about my cargo. A gentleman answered and was very rude, as if I disturbed him from sleeping. I asked if I was on to inter island shipping and he said “yes”. I asked to speak to Dexter and he said Dexter is away. I asked to speak to the young lady I would usually speak to and he said she isn’t there. I asked if he can assist me with my cargo, he said “you can call back next week”. Apparently when these two people are unavailable, no one else knows anything and customers have to wait. It’s frustrating that he was of no help and couldn’t direct to me either of these persons or help me himself. What a lack of professionalism! He said his name is Farozze. This is my third time doing business with this company and really quite surprised how the service was excellent in the beginning to frustration and lack of professionalism. I contacted the person who referred me to this shipping company and expressed how disappointed I was and she provided the contact info for a lady named Beebee who was very helpful. Had I gotten on to her or someone who have been of help from the beginning this would have saved me the stress and time spent in aggravation. I also would not have need to leave such a review!! Very bad for business.

If i could give them zero stars they would get it, they have no customer service and the gentleman on the phone has zero front of house skills. He is rude, unable to balance workload and tells lies. I asked him if he had barrels for sale his first reposnse was yes and then proceeded to ask for my adress, when i then told i just wanted the barrel and not their shipment service his response was ' nah, i aint got none you know, go somewhere else, sorry, bye' then the phone cut off. He needs serious training on whole to deal with people and to learn how to stop tell lie
Truthly, yes they can be inaccurate about dates and times but the customer service I've received has been nothing but impeccable! I've used Inter Island Shipping for many years and will always go back! During this lockdown they've been an invaluable service! Bending over backwards to accommodate us by supporting and aiding our needs. Thank you Inter Island Shipping, you're the best!
Unreliable and not professional at all. No one return calls or even explain why delivery and pick up dates are missed.
