I have had to recently seek support during these unstable times which I have not had to undertake before. I was helped by Nicholas and Steve who were both extremely supportive, helpful and understanding. They assisted me with all my queries and went above and beyond to find solutions and information to assist me. Nicholas was my first point of contact and he immediately put me at ease when I was concerned and unsure. During this unpredictable time I appreciate they would have been inundated with calls and queries and they handled everything efficiently and with the utmost consideration and professionalism,
I was expecting people working here to be unfriendly and tired from the influx of claims. I couldn't have been more wrong, I spoke to 3 different people and one even called me back on a Saturday to make sure my claim was correct. Excellent service and understanding that restored my faith in humans this week.
The feeling of welcome is very unpleasant, nobody wants to provide information. They want you to do everything online. 5 people at the door talking to each other, they only know how to indicate, web pages. My question is what do they do if they don't want to give a service to the public. A shame for a person without technological resources.
We had some furlough enquiry related to our staff and job centre pointed us in the right direction, thanks for your advice
