An absolute disgrace! Took my 80yr old Grandmother to the Post Office in WHSmith to withdraw her pension. Straight after withdrawing her money she went to the till at WHSmith to buy a sgratchcard and they told her that the 20 note that she was paying with was a fake. This was a 20 note that she had received from the Post Office. We then went back to the Post Office which is situated at the back of WHSmith to tell the lady that served my Grandmother that she had given my Grandmother a fake 20 note. Her reply was \Because you have walked away I can't do nothing about it. My Manager will have to call you\. And refused to give her a genuine 20 note as \her till will be down\. The cashier looked dodgy with her excuses and looked extremely nervous. So now my Grandmother is down 20 from her pension. 20 is a lot to her. It's money for electricity and a bag of coal to keep her warm. Check your money if you go to the Post Office at WHSmith as they dish out fake notes to pensioners (and everyone) without a care in the world!! Or just simply avoid!!

Only go in there for Post Office services. I cannot buy highly priced stationery with the benefits I'm on. Not ideal when you're starting your own business.
