Ordered from this company twice, both times had issues. First delivery was delayed. Second 'next day' delivery order has not arrived after 5 days and when I've phoned AGAIN today I've been told its not even on the dispatch list. Have requested refund, but based on previous reviews I'm assuming that will also be a challenge. Will not use again. No idea why they offer a next day delivery service that clearly they are unable to deliver on.
Placed an order in July 2019 not received it. promised on 4 occasion I would get my money back and still waiting. DO NOT USE. I gave them ample opportunity to resolve and every time I call they either didn't answer or said the accounts manager would deal with it, Update: It's now been 7 months since I still have not received any refund from the company. I have given up hope on getting my money back. Generally I don't leave bad review but on this occasion it is justified.
I have used Liverpool Woods for the past 5 years and would have to say that the service has been, on the whole, very good - especially as I live way down in Cornwall and, due to limited storage at home, I can only order 1000Kgs of wood pellets in 10Kg bags at a time. My recent delivery was damaged in transit by the local delivery courier who unfortunately flatly refused to accept responsibility/liability for the damage. I then contacted Customer Service at Liverpool Woods and, after furnishing them with my photographic evidence of the condition in which their product was delivered, I found them to be both helpful and fair in the way they handled my case. It is clear from reading all the reviews that previous customers have experienced varying degrees of success with Customer Services at Liverpool Woods but, from my point of view, I will continue to use their pellets.
